The tone of your voice says a lot

I have worked as a stop-gap in the call center sales industry. If someone were to put a gun to my head and ask me to summarize my call center experience, I would call it a box of Kleenex. Why? Use, and lose environment. If you are not producing, say bye, bye to your job, very high turnover. This is negative; how about the positive? A “trainer” can ask you to log off and go to the board room for a bit of brushing up, coaching. At least for me, it was mostly to do with the tone of my voice. The trainer would say,” I like your pitch;however, the tone of your voice needs work.” It took me a while to understand how the tone of your voice plays a huge part in our communication. How about the body language? Do they mirror the tone of your voice? Yes, the answer. For example, a warm greeting and a warm hug from family and friends. Take, for instance, road rage; we hear the anger in the tone that accompanies an offensive gesture. Some ideas here, let me try my three in one take 1) If you have nothing good to say, do not talk. 2) Have a calm, smiling face; it disarms. 3) Let a good friend know that you would like to improve the tone of your voice and get feedback.
