The seeds of trust were already sown; when we were very young, we trusted our parents for everything, food, clothing, and shelter, to crawl space. As I get older, one’s circle expands and shrinks. Yet, trust is prized in all of my relationships. Why? Maybe it is the fascination I have with the duty of a trusted cup-bearer to pour and serve drinks at the royal table in the royal court in ancient times, even when treachery was common. So who is your trusted cup-bearer? There is no easy answer; however, here is three in one take: 1)A friend who looks for you in the crowd. 2)A good listener. 3) Who is very forgiving. I am very intentional in keeping the family out.
